State of Cloud Infrastructure Governance Survey 2017

Fielded to more than 300 IT professionals in October 2017, Fugue's State of Cloud Infrastructure Governance Survey revealed that cloud infrastructure governance is sorely lacking in many enterprises and agencies. In spite of an ever-increasing number of security breaches, 62 percent of respondents rely on manual reviews before infrastructure is provisioned, and 42 percent have no cloud infrastructure governance processes in place. Additionally, 28 percent of IT professionals aren’t confident their cloud infrastructure is secure.

The infographic here presents key data about compliance and governance challenges that cloud practicioners face as well as organizational accountability. With a majority of businesses increasingly reliant on cloud and 68 percent of those surveyed still using paper-based checklists for infrastructure policies, the need for automated and optimized governance is clear. Companies can migrate existing workloads to Fugue in minutes to achieve that, with no downtime or service interruption. Fugue delivers total visibility, policy compliance, and protective state enforcement—while accelerating secure, automated deployments and DevSecOps collaboration.
